Wrap Logic: Pathways, Pockets & Possibilities
Wrap Logic: Pathways, Pockets & Possibilities
Workshop with Emily Barber
December 9th
Montrose Fairgrounds, Friendship Hall
Ever wonder why a wrap works...and what else you can do with it? Dive into the nerdy, creative side of aerial silks as we explore wrap theory, body positioning, and the pathways that connect familiar skills to new possibilities.
We'll break down how wraps work, experiment with variations and transitions, and discover ways to link skills together with greater efficiency, control, and flow. Expect a mix of technical exploration and creative sequencing, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and troubleshoot.
Perfect for intermediate aerialists who want to move beyond memorizing tricks and develop a deeper understanding of the fabric.
Prerequisites: Comfortable inverting in the air, performing a hip key, and working confidently in the air with basic wraps and transitions.
